Consultation

In drawing up the proposals, consultation has been carried out with local organisations and national stakeholders. In March, a Stakeholder Workshop was held which 50 delegates attended. Presentations have also been given to local parish councils. These consultations have helped shape the proposals. For example, following comments from members of Weldon Parish Council, a green wedge was proposed at the southern edge of the site to protect the integrity of Weldon village.

A comprehensive programme of consultations is now planned with local residents, including a series of public exhibitions.
