Q Are the proposals in line with local planning policies?
A

The Priors Hall site straddles the boundary between Corby and East Northants with about 2/3 of the site in the Corby area and the remaining 1/3 in East Northants. The site is already identified for development. In 1982 the site was granted planning permission for the WonderWorld themepark, but this was never built. When Corby Council came to review their local plan in 1997, they allocated part of the land for employment purposes. More recently, Catalyst Corby has published a Regeneration Framework, and has identified the Priors Hall site for housing led development.
