Jobs

Two areas of land have been identified for employment uses - next to the Rockingham Speedway (which could be used by businesses associated with the motor industry) and next to the North Weldon Industrial Estate (providing opportunities for the expansion of premises currently based there). In addition, a hotel is planned and jobs will be created in the district and neighbourhood centres. In total, we estimate that around 3,000 new jobs will be created.
